Edesix will be exhibiting at the Emergency Services Show (ESS) on the 19th-20th of September.
The Emergency Services Show is the UK’s leading annual showcase of the blue light sector, featuring over 450 exhibitors, live demonstrations, unique learning opportunities and unrivalled networking.
Taking place in Hall 5 at the NEC in Birmingham, the two-day event brings together all disciplines from the emergency services sector to discover innovative technology and operational solutions, share their experiences and unite in their collaborative approach to public safety.
Edesix will be exhibiting the latest in Body Worn Camera (BWC) technologies, including the new VT-100 VideoTag cameras as well as updates to the State-of-the-art VideoManager Video Management System (VMS).
Edesix is the #1 provider of Body Worn Cameras for Fire Services and Paramedics in the UK.
As the first BWC provider to supply fire services in the UK, Edesix currently supplies fire-fighters in the West Midlands with BWCs, after a successful trial at ten Birmingham fire stations in 2016. West Midlands deployed 80 Edesix Videobadges in 2017 to be used primarily for learning and development purposes. Following on from the success of the West Midlands rollout, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue have also adopted Edesix as their supplier of BWC.
Stuart Boutell, Edesix’s product manager, explains:
“Our Videobadges are currently being utilised to help fire-fighters gather information to review their responses to incidents. This will greatly help the review and learning processes of the fire services. The use of body worn cameras for identifying best practice is fast becoming fundamental within our all our emergency services.”
