Last year, there was 10 incidents of abuse against traffic wardens in Lancashire. After the attacks Lancashire NSL traffic wardens have been given our body cameras for their own protection, not for recording car details.
According to research at Portsmouth University’s Institute of Criminal Justice Studies, public order and assaults have fallen significantly since selected police officers in Hampshire wore body cameras.
